While this may not affect proper function of your pump, it is recommended to replace the ceramic shaft to ensure quiet performance. Replacement Impeller Shafts are available for Quiet One Pump Models 2200, 3000, 4000, 4000HH, 5000, 6000, 9000, 14000, and 16000.Pre-Filter Sponge The pre-filter sponge helps prevent premature pump damage by keeping debris from entering your pump.
