Bird songs have multiple purposes

All animals make noises. They make them when they’re happy, when they’re sad, when they’re scared, when they’re in pain and when they feel threatened. Birds use their bird songs as a communication tool between themselves, their families and the birds they live around.

Birds actually communicate with humans, if you can believe it, though the way a bird communicates with a human is usually considered a squawk or a nag rather than bird songs. How do birds make songs?
