1.     Health Issues:

Unfortunately, this breed can run in to many health problems. Syringomyelia, hereditary eye disease, dislocating knee caps, back trouble, ear infections, early onset of deafness, hip dysplasia and some lines have serious heart problems. It is always a good idea to check the medical history for several generations back before purchasing one of these dogs.
