Three Most Aggressive Fish

An important question to ask for many reasons is what is the three most aggressive fish species? You need to know this if you want aggressive fish and even if you want a peaceful fish tank. The three most aggressive fish happen to be Convicts, Barbs, and Oscars.

First of the three most aggressive fish is the Convict fish. This fish can harass other fish to their death. These fish are not only a problem with smaller fish but have been known to fight fish up to three times there size. Although these freshwater fish are very hardy they can not be kept with other fish. These fish are best kept alone but if you must have different fish you can pair them with Oscars(whish we will discuss later) since they are larger than the Convict and are aggresive enough to hold there own. What a perfect name for this of the three most aggressive fish, the Convict.

Antoher of the three most aggressive fish is the Barb species. These fish are fairly small but tend to nip at fins. This is especially a problem if they are not kept with a school of Barbs since they are nipping fish withing there schools. The best way to not have a problem with barbs is to not keep only one of them. An example of a disaster combination is the Tiger Barb with the Angelfish. All it takes for Barbs is a little research to know how to make Barbs work in your fish tank.

The last of the three most aggressive fish is the Oscar. These fish are not only aggressive to other fish but will uproot plants and move things that are in there aquarium. Oscars will eat anything that is small enough to fit into its mouth. They are less aggressive if raised with other fish but will be aggressive towards fish that are introduced into the aquarium. Although Oscars are agressive they are beautiful and have quite a personality.

Beautiful fish with an attitude is what these species are all about. If you do your research no fish is to much to handle and when these fish are put into the proper environment there will be no problem. This is your responsibility as a fish owner, especially if aggressive fish are what you want. Do it and you will be successful! So if aggressive is what your looking for look to one of these three most aggressive fish.
