Though most people think an exercise pen as something used only for dogs, it can also be useful for cats.
Things to Consider:
Bringing Home a New Cat – If you already have a cat and are bringing an additional pet into your home, you can use the exercise pen as a way to introduce the animals to each other. It´s a great way to have them together in the same room, yet separated until they become adjusted to each other.
Exercise When Traveling – An exercise pen is also great if you´re traveling with your pet. You may have your cat in a cat carrier while youńre on the road, but once you get to your destination, you can put your cat in an exercise pen, giving him freedom to move around in a confined space.
Soft is Safer – It´s best to use a soft–sided pen, such as one constructed with nylon mesh or another soft material. Rounded corners and edges are also a good feature with a soft–sided pen, as they will prevent unnecessary injuries that are sometimes caused by sharp corners or wire mesh.
