  4. Crusts otherwise known as blood and other fluids that forms above a cut or abrasion. It appears thin, moist, clear, or yellow in color.
  5. Cysts are large pockets filled with and associated with parasites. Another cause is cuts, burns, or severe trauma.
  6. Shedding, fungal infection, and stress cause discoloration in the skin.
  7. Edema produces swelling where an injection was done or a dewormer has been placed.
  8. Nodules are associated with several types of infections.When an infection is showing lumps or pus around the injury it is infected and needs attention immediatly.

Parasites cause the reptile to rub against something to itch. This itching causes abrasions and the parasites enter. This allows the parasite to onset the next stage.

Patches of skin color or texture change is associated with a fungal or bacterial infection.

On the reptile, the skin is he largest organ and is there to keep the body healthy. It is there to enclose the fluids in the body. It also helps keep fungi, parasites, and bacteria out.

The proper environmental care is very important in the reptile skin care make sure the humidity is enough to keep the reptile skin moist without causing a fungal infection.
