Turn glass tank upside down.clean glass bottom of tank.before placing the heating pad make sure it is at least half an inch from all walls of the tank.also be sure that the wire exits to the back of the tank.remove protective paper from adhesive side

Of heating pad.place adhesive side of heating pad to outside bottom of glass tank.rub heating pad until it is firmly adhered to tank bottom.remove protective paper from rubber spacer and apply it to the tanks support near the wire.
