For freshwater use only. filters ammonia nitrites and nitrates from water. these chemicals are harmful to fish health. also protects against ammonia and nitrite surges. designed to be used when setting up a new aquarium.

Remove filter pouch from plastic bag. do not open pouch. rinse the pouch in tap water to remove any dust. place pouch directly in filtration basket. recharge the filter every one to three months depending on stocking density and water quality.
