Overview
Removes phospate and silicate. phosphate is a byproduct of fish metabolism. silicate is added to tap water to reduce pipe corrosion. if left to accumulate these chemicals will lead to reduced water quality.

Remove filter pouch from plastic bag. do not open the filter pouch. rinse in water for several minutes to activate. place pouch directly in filtration basket. replace every one to three months depending on stocking density and water quality.
