Mixing and Feeding Directions Drinking Water: Mix 2 ounces to 10 gallons of fresh, clean drinking water daily for a 1,000 lbs. horse. Provide this solution as the only source of water for the animal until consumed. Do not feed additional salt while the animal is being fed this drinking water solution. Best success is by providing 1 to 2 fresh clean solutions in a 24 hour period of time. Balance of daily water supply is to be fresh clean water. Grain Ration: Mix as a top dress to the horses daily grain ration. Top-dress 1 ounce per feeding, 2 times daily, and not more than 2 ounces per 1,000 lbs. horse per day.
