Infection – Cleaning and dressing a wound properly is one of the most important things you can do to help them heal quickly. Dirt and other harmful bacteria can cause a bad infection and lead to worse conditions.
First Aid Kit – It is always a great idea to have an actual kit composed of all the supplies that you need in case of an emergency. Having to hunt down supplies during an emergency can cost both you and your injured animal valuable time. As you use your supplies, keep a list close by where you can record what needs to be replenished.
Cattle Bandages – If you have a lot of cattle, using a bright-colored bandage will help you quickly identify your injured cow in a crowd.
