Natural Chemistry De Flea Pet and Area Spray The active ingredients in De Flea products work together to soften the waxy exoskeleton of fleas. Once the insect's armor has been penetrated, its internal organs are saturated and the insect quickly bursts. DeFlea products work for all stages of an insect's life cycle: eggs, larvae, pupae and adult - effectively eliminating all insects from the home. Does not use pyrethroids or similar chemicals to achieve results, so fleas and other parasites do not become resistant, Thus, the product never loses effectiveness. This ingredient is responsible for softening the shell of the fleas. Undecylenic Acid- is also a common pharmaceutical product that is used in anti-fungals. It is a derivative from the castor bean. This ingredient is responsible for saturating the fleas' internal organs, to kill the fleas. Other Ingredients- filtered water. Note: Do not use on animals under 12 weeks of age. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals. Sensitivities may occur; if sensitivites do occur, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If sensitivity continues, consult a veterinarian immediately.
