The National Research Council (N.R.C.) established Vitamin E and selenium requirements in the equine diet at 600-1800 I.U. / per day of Vitamin E and selenium at 1-3 ppm (or 1-3 mg. if the horse is ingesting 10 kg of dry matter). Select Vit-E-Sel supplies 625 I.U. Vitamin E and 1 mg selenium per day. Vit-E-Sel can also be mixed in bulk at 2.5 lbs per ton of feed.
