Healthy Ponds MOSQUITO CONTROL is a highly selective microbial larvicide that kills mosquitoes before they ever take flight, including those which may transmit diseases. Healthy Ponds MOSQUITO CONTROL is produced from a naturally occurring strain of Bacillus thuringensis subspecies israelensis (BTI) bacteria. It produces a protein toxin (crystal) which, when ingested, kills mosquitoes while theyÆre still in the larval stage.
