Limit Millet Intake – Millet is probably a favorite treat for your canary, because it´s high in fat and full of flavor. However, because it´s high in fat, you should limit your canary´s intake of this treat to once a week
Keep Things Clean – Your canary will make a mess when she eats. You should be sure that there´s always food available and that the floor of the cage is kept clean. Otherwise, your canary might be tempted to eat seed and other food that has dropped to the floor of the cage.
